Iām Abigail Findlay. Most people call me Abi.
My background is in leadership in the creative brand industries. I've worked with and for Nike, Apple, Warner Music Group, Wieden+Kennedy, The Girl Effect, Stella McCartney and Heineken. In recent years, I've consulted to brands and creative agencies as a Managing Director or General Manager as they set up something new, turn something around or add a new product or service. I have worked across the commercial and not-for-profit sectors. I've worked with brands across Africa, Europe and the US.
I have spent the last four years deepening my understanding of human relationships; both brain science (relational neurobiology) and mind science (attachment theory across the life-course). I apply what I have learned to my personal life as a mother of two young children and to my professional life as a senior leader.
In the future, I am considering setting up a think-tank to work on original research and new policy development to support women leaders, as well as creating a widely accessible academically rigorous evidence-based knowledge platform around emotional intelligence.
I am a certified Executive Leadership Coach with ITS
I am a member of the ICF, the Association of Coaching and a Fellow at the Institute of Coaching, an affiliate of Harvard Medical School.
I work within the Code of Ethics of the International Coaching Federation.
